This free app, developed by students Gabriel Linares and Guillem Pérez under the guidance of researchers Bruno Julià and Carles Calero, offers a unique blend of entertainment and scientific learning.
In Quantum Tycoon, players embark on a journey as the manager of a quantum computer company. They navigate resource management, technology development, and real-world quantum algorithm challenges, such as Grover's algorithm. The game seamlessly integrates key quantum technology concepts into a simulation and strategy environment, ensuring an immersive and educational experience.
"We aimed to showcase how educational games can be both fun and informative without compromising playability," says Gabriel Linares, one of the game's creators. "We believe we've achieved that!"
